Track pants made from discarded sweater and denim fabric. Something can sometimes go wrong during the screen printing process of our clothing. During IR drying, a sweater might, for example, be partially burnt, or develop irreparable stains. Clothing can also fade due to light or sun during storage or in a shop window. All of which means they are no longer saleable.
Instead of throwing them away, we collect these items in a bin. Every so often, we cut up these sweaters and hoodies and print them with various graphic patterns. This always results in a different colour palette, which we supply to Bell's studio (or better known as Blazinbell). She sorts the fabrics and then creates cool combinations to deliver a beautiful set of unique track pants back to us.
This is a black, white, and red version with grid and line patterns, but also features the print 'ik moet helemaal niks' (which roughly translates to 'I don't have to do anything at all').
